RIP Sion Milosky

Yesterday Mavericks claimed the life of another surfer during a big wave session involving a lot of guys with a huge amount of talent experience.

Sion Milosky died at about 6.30pm on March 16th after apparently becoming trapped under water after a particularly big wave rolled over him. His board was reportedly seen tombstoning but PWC assistance couldn't make it through the subsequent waves and by the the time a few more waves had crashed through sion's board was gone. Eventually Sion was located and CPR was given but tragically it was too late. Chris Killen a videographer who was on one of the ski's that day tells the complete story here.
